We pride ourselves in embroidering many different items, and specialize in unique, personalized, gift-giving products!
Our humble beginnings started well over 30 years ago, in the heart of Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii. Rachel’s interest in embroidery led her to become owner of EMBROIDERED GIFT SHOP, which was known to be one of the very few shops in Hawaii to master the art of “free-hand embroidery”.
As computerized embroidery evolved, so did her store. With the help of her daughter, Verna, she opened a 2nd location at the Pearl Harbor NEX, where they specialized in embroidering military-uniform nametapes and insignias. After 14 years at the NEX, it was time for a change. In 2000, they closed both stores and relocated to their current location at the Stadium Mall Shopping Center and renamed it THE EMBROIDERY GIFT SHOP, INC.
Family-owned and operated, our mother/daughter team, along with our loyal, dedicated, and well-experienced staff, offer quality computerized embroidery service & personalized products. We also offer custom-designed digitizing, and cater to businesses, schools, clubs, & organizations.
